Exhibits at Pyramid Atlantic are curated by Washington Printmaker's Gallery.

Founded in 1985, the Gallery is the greater DC metro area's primary source for artist-pulled fine art prints, and has a membership of exceptional local and national printmakers. Every month, Washington Printmakers Gallery has a group exhibit of members' work and a solo show. The gallery also houses bins and flatfiles with prints and a limited collection of artist books and portfolios.

Pyramid Atlantic is a significant and dynamic exhibition venue for cutting edge work by national and international artists in the media of printmaking, papermaking, book arts and digital media.

To that end, the philosophy of Pyramid Atlantic's exhibition program is to:

* support and energize regional artistic activities,
* encourage work that is provocative and stimulating,
* expand the range and definition of print, paper, book art, and digital media, particularly through engagement with other media

Artists are central to Pyramid Atlantic's programs. Through artist residencies, commissions, sponsorships, and outreach programs, artists explore new directions in paper and print media, and produce new works of art, representing the very best in collaboration.

These works are published and archived at Pyramid Atlantic, and are available for collectors and the public to view and purchase by appointment.
