What do you have in your kitchen? An oven? A Refrigerator? A sink? A lithographic printing press? Say what!!?? That’s right! Now you too can create hand pulled prints in your own kitchen using regular supplies like aluminum foil, butter, and a wooden spoon. Come to Pyramid Atlantic’s member’s only event and learn the science behind lithographic printing with Dave Miller. Each attendee will walk away with an original artistic print of their own creation. Please join us for an artist talk featuring Megan Heeres, Pyramid Atlantic's Keyholder Resident Artist, on April 4th starting at 7pm in our Gallery. SOUTHERN FRIED WOODCUTS by Sean Starwars

APRIL 20 - JUNE 2, 2018 Mississippi-based Printmaker and professional Mountain Dew drinker Sean Starwars exhibits over 200 of his famous/ infamous woodblock prints. His distinctive style and prolific work have rendered him one of the top contemporary printmakers in the U.S. Starwars will be exhibiting brand new prints alongside some that date back 15 years. March 25, 2018 - DIY Zine Workshop

Please join us for a DIY Zine Workshop on March 25th from 1pm-3pm. This event is free and open to the public. Anyone can make a zine: all you need is some paper, a writing utensil, copy machine, and a desire to create. Meet the artists from not too high, not too low and learn how to get started designing your very own self-published, no rules art piece. Join DC's long tradition of DIY, counterculture art! This is a free, walk-in workshop open to all ages and levels of experience!

The 14th biennial Book Arts Fair showcases a dynamic array of alternative and traditional book arts, limited edition prints, fine paper, and zines. This three-day event connects artists, printers, collectors, designers, art lovers, and the simply curious. The Fair kicks-off Friday night with a preview party (free and open to the public) and continues Saturday and Sunday with lectures, demos, exhibits, and a marketplace. Tickets start at $10.
