PATTERNING: Curated by Molly Ruppert

Hyattsville, MD—"Patterning" is a natural organizing element of creation seen as an innate, universal and often unconscious expression in human thought and endeavor. In an exhibition that combines prints, fabric art and sculpture, eight artists create work that assembles and disassembles patterns. The works are filled with emotion, memories, and the need to restore (or destroy) order. Detail views of featured artwork by Sobia Ahmad, Michael Booker, Ellen Hill, Sarah Matthews, Cece Cole McInturff, Frederick Nunley, Ira Tattelman, and Jordan Tierney. PATTERNING runs August 8–September 13, 2020. To support the health of our community, we are not hosting an opening reception. The gallery is free
