A Virtual Pop-Up Building Blocks Party!

If you enjoyed taking one of our recent Pop-Up Building Blocks classes, signed-up for the holiday edition of the class in November, or if you have experimented with creating pop-up paper constructions before, join us to learn the next level of paper engineering skills in the form of festive holiday cards to share with the lucky loved ones on your mailing list.

This 3 hour class will cover the use of additional cutting and folding techniques that combine with the basic pop-up building blocks, such as the parallel box support and the V-fold, to create more complex constructions. These curated card projects will celebrate the winter holidays and will include instruction templates for all the structures made in class to encourage and inspire your own further popup design.

Students will receive class packets by mail that include all the cardstock, handmade prints, specialty papers, glue and ephemera needed as well as envelopes and custom envelope templates.

Registration closes November 24, 2020 to allow time for the safe packaging and mailing of the materials kit, which includes cardstock, decorative papers, and a UHU glue stick. Students will also receive a list of other needed tools and supplies to gather/purchase ahead of class, any helpful handouts about the process, as well as a quick 1-page "how-to" on downloading and using the Zoom video app.

PLEASE NOTE: All workshops will be recorded for Pyramid Atlantic's private use to better optimize our programming and share as examples for funders. You may mute your microphone or turn off your camera if you do not wish to be recorded.
