We can all appreciate a nice package when we see one, but do you ever wonder about what steps it takes to create that package? Do you also have some letterpress skills but want to dive deeper into the world of printer’s tips and tricks? In this class, we will be covering the basics of package design as we learn about printing on die-cut boxes and coasters! We will cover multi-layer printing with photopolymer as well as set type on objects beyond the world of normal paper. Using both the Vandercook and tabletop presses you will create a cohesive package that you will be able to assemble and take home after the two-day intensive!
Prerequisite: Introduction to Letterpress, or equivalent experience, is required. Graphic Design experience is helpful, but not necessary.
