Have you ever admired a patterned fabric and wanted to make your own? Or are you an artist looking to spread into the world of textiles?
In this debut colalborative workshop with Three Little Birds Sewing co., you will learn both how to screenprint on fabric and how to sew your own placemats, napkins, or t-shirt!
On the first day, this hands-on introduction will provide instruction of the screenprinting process, specifically for fabric. You will learn about sourcing printing equipment and materials, preparing your personal artwork for screen-printing, coating and exposing a screen, executing a screen print, heat setting a printed image, and fabric care.
On day two of the workshop, you will turn your freshly-printed fabric into sewn creations at Three Little Birds Sewing Co. You may choose to make napkins, placemats, or a T-shirt.
Level: All projects are designed for complete beginners, however, all levels are welcome!
