In celebration of National Women’s History Month, the Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington (WCA/DC) will showcase fifteen women artists at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Titled “Rewrite::Re-Righting: Prepare, Provoke, Prevail,” the exhibition makes a declarative statement on the role of women artists in 2015.
The Women’s Caucus for Art WCA is the major national organization for women in the visual arts professions. WCA was founded in 1972 in connection with the College Art Association (CAA). It is unique in its multi-disciplinary, multicultural membership of artists, art historians, students, educators, and museum professionals. WCA has 28 chapters nationwide, including WCA/DC www.wcadc.org.
