Hyattsville, MD—Pyramid Atlantic Art Center is proud to announce that the long-awaited expansion of its Screenprinting Studio is complete! Though there are still a number of finishing touches to wrap up in order to make the space truly feel like "home," all of the major construction is done and the space is more functional than ever.
Above: The expanded workspace allows for nearly double the occupancy,
compared to the original space (below).
The expanded studio features increased workspace to accommodate more artists and workshop participants; a larger darkroom with dedicated spaces for screen washout and exposure; and lots of new and improved lighting!
Pyramid Atlantic would like to thank everyone who donated time, money and energy to make this dream a reality. Special thanks is due to the Prince George's Arts and Humanities Council for their support of this important project.
This project was made possible in part through funding from the Prince George's County Arts and Humanities Council.
