Snag It!

Are you 17–22 Years Old?

Do you live  (or attend school) in
Prince George's County, Md?

Want to get creative with us … for FREE?

Snag It! is an arts enrichment program geared towards young adults living, studying, and working in Prince George's County. Snag It! offers these young adults opportunities to explore the handmade practices of printmaking, papermaking, and book arts through our artist-led workshops for FREE.

Registration is required and spots are limited.

Classes included in Snag It! program involve any of the Pyramid studios: printmaking, papermaking, book arts, letterpress, screenprinting, and a variety of special topics. Many of these classes have moved online during this challenging time.

Here's how it works:

  • You provide us with your contact information and studio interests (below).

  • We email or text you when our instructors report that they have extra spots in our classes.

  • You let us know which classes you want to take! Spots fill on a first-come, first-served basis from the Snag It! waitlist.

  • You attend the class, without having to pay any of the tuition. You will, however, be responsible for the materials fee and/or purchasing the needed supplies for the class. We’ll let you know how much the materials fee is and/or provide the supply list before you commit to the class.

  • We want to be fair to those on the waitlist. If you commit to a class and don't show, we require a 2-month waiting period before you can take another class under Snag It!.

If you are between the ages of 17 and 22 years old and live in Prince George's County, you're eligible to participate in this program. Add your name to the Snag It! waitlist below to get started!

A Note About Pyramid and Covid Safety:

While we are encouraged by the numbers reported locally and nationally, Pyramid is committed to the health of our artists and visitors. At this time, we are choosing to be more conservative than the local ordinances. We have increased our studio capacity numbers in some areas but will  continue to operate the building at a reduced capacity and require mask wearing in all public spaces.
